What is GPS Tracker Android App?
This tracker application works exactly like any other physical GPS tracker device to track through phone's GPS location. Application does not have any user interface for phone user and all the configuration and control will be done through web portal by owner, manager, patent. It gives flexible configuration to customize the tracking pattern. Android phone with GPS and SIM with SMS balance and GPRS plan is required in the phone to work.
This application can be installed on any Android phone used by family member or an employee to track their movements. Application will send the current geo location details along with time stamp to server for historical review of movements. It is very useful for field staff or family member to know their location when needed. Online tracking platform can be used to run reports and review the movements. Manager can also set the boundaries for certain regions (Geo-Fence) and get an alert when person reaches that region or leaves that region. Manager can also call the device to listen to the voice from that remote location.

How to Configure?
Employee installs TraceMyMove-Tracker android APP from Google Play Store. Application will do auto registration to our server and maps it to user's mobile number. Employee will not have any capability to configure from phone.
Manager will get an alert message after the application Is installed and give him an access to configure the application remotely through online portal. Manager can set start and end time for each day to track the Geo coordinates and optionally he can give On/Off control to employee.
These two steps would enable the tracking on our server. Manager can login to check the history and change configuration for a specific employee.
How does it work?
TraceMyMove-Tracker Application will start getting GPS location data as per the configuration done by manager. GPS location data and time stamp will be transmitted to server as per the configuration settings. It will first try to send the data through GPRS, when fails connecting to GPRS it will send through SMS. GPRS frequency and SMS frequency can be configured by manager as per the phone's SIM plan limitations.
Manager can login to web application, review the employee route map, deviations and run reports. Manager can also access the details through Manager app. Get SMS Alerts and email alerts as per the settings. Manager can draw regions/boundaries on google map for a specific employee and get alerts when the person reaches or leaves that region.
